Welcome (Ẹ káàbọ̀)

I'm Aremu, a Computational Linguist & Cognitive Scientist

I specialize in language technology, conversational AI, and NLP for low-resource languages.

Who I am

I am a computational linguist and cognitive scientist with a career spanning half a decade. I specialise in language technology, innovation, advocacy, and research. My skill set extends beyond these areas to encompass advanced competencies in translation, content localization, annotation, and ontology.

I have developed a deep expertise in cutting-edge technologies like speech recognition, transcription, conversational AI design, terminology development, and their applications in natural language processing.

Recently, my professional pursuits have enabled me to work extensively with languages such as English, French, Yorùbá, Nigerian Pidgin, isiZulu, Swahili, seSotho, and Hausa, and applying my skills across various domains.

I thrive in interdisciplinary collaborations, underpinned by a strong passion for understanding human language and using cognitive science as a catalyst for meaningful social change.
